NSS ACTIVITY


“INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELBRATION”
International woman’s day was celebrated on 8th march 2013 with great Zeal and fervor with participation of the Principal Dr.TVS Arun Murthy, NSS Program Officer and NSS Volunteers in our college premises. On this occasion Smt.MVN.Padmaja-District Magistrate, District Mobile Court-Kurnool and Sri.G.AdiNarayana-Senior Civil Judge and Secretary-Legal Service Authority-Kurnool were the guests of honors of the day. The active participation of the advocates Sri.Nagaraju and Sri.Thambi reddy has inspired the celebrations. The mementos were given to the guests by Dr.TVS Arun Murthy Principal KCE.

On this occasion Dr.TVS Arun Murthy, Principal-KCE has enlightened the contribution and importance of women in society. The guest of honor Smt.MVN.Padmaja-District Magistrate, District Mobile Court-Kurnool addressed gathering of B.Tech & MBA students, in his addressed she enlightened the Indian culture system and the important multifaceted role a woman placed in each individual life as a mother, sister, and daughter soon. In all the rolls she plays she is committed and dedicated to the task and stress relentless to accomplish the objective.

On this occasion the guest of honor Sri.G.AdiNarayana-Senior Civil Judge and Secretary-Legal Service Authority-Kurnool addressed gathering by telling the importance of women rights ,law and acts which are their in our constituency.

Finally under the observation of Department of English Slogan writing, Poster making, Mehandhi and Tug of war competitions were conducted to all the students. Many students participated actively and bagged several prizes. A Wonderful Food Fest was organized by women students as a part of entertainment activity. The program was all attended by Principal kce, all faculty members, students of B.Tech, MCA & MBA and NSS P.O.  Slide show of great women was presented.

“PHILANTHROPIC HELP 

RENDERED TO THE VICTIMS OF FIRE 

ACCIDENT”
            As per the instructions given by the NSS Chairman, Dr.TVS Arun murthy-Principal, KCE, I A.Ganesh-NSS Programme Officer is hereby submitting a report on the help rendered by the NSS unit of KCE to the victims of fire accidents occur on 25th Feb. 2013 near Maruthi Mega City –Nandikotukur road, Kurnool.
            To maintain the motto of NSS-“NOT ME NOT YOU BUT WE”, as soon as the news of fire accident was identified by us through print media, our NSS team,NSS Programme Officer along with heads of various  departments and few other staff members, started collecting cloths and necessary provisions for the victims of fire accidents. The NSS Unit witnessed the accident spot on 27th Feb. 2013-along with the material. The victims were in pathetic condition and told us about the accident.
            Finally under the observation of Smt. Patnam Rajeswari-SC, ST&BC Women Wing Priesdent, Kurnool, A.Ganesh-NSS Programme Officer and other staff members, distributed the clothes and provisions to them and made them cheerful, thus rendering our services satisfactorily to the needy. The program was all attended by Principal kce, all faculty members, students of B.Tech, MCA & MBA and NSS P.O.

“BLOOD GROUPING PROGRAM”

                                   Blood Grouping Program was conducted with great Zeal and fervor with participation of the Principal Dr.TVS Arun Murthy, NSS Program Officer and more than 40 NSS Volunteers on 23-FEB-2013at KCE premises.
                        On this occasion Dr.P.Poornachandrarao-Program Manager, Blood Bank-Vishwa Bharathi Superspecality Hospitals-Kurnool and Sri.Gurubhramachari-Assistant Program Manager, Blood Bank-Vishwa Bharathi Superspecality Hospitals-Kurnool were the guests of honors of the day. The mementos were given to the guests by Dr.TVS Arun Murthy Principal KCE.
Dr.P.Poornachandrarao-Program Manager, Blood Bank-Vishwa Bharathi Superspecality Hospitals-Kurnool has address the gathering- Blood is needed for many individuals, whether it is for someone that has trauma, needed surgery, needed blood transfusion, cancer patients, etc.   More than 30 blood groups are needed every day to meet the need for the high supply, however, this need is not met, Being that there is a high need for blood donation, stakeholder need to find creative ways to obtain the blood that is needed.   The stakeholders are the physicians, blood centers, patients, and blood donors.
            Dr.TVS Arun Murthy Principal KCE- has address the gathering- will explain the criteria that is necessary for a person to become eligible to   donate blood, the procedure for blood donation, and who will benefit from the   blood donation. All these things are done successfully only when we know our blood group. Students should develop this type of service oriented activities from their lower standards onwards.
                        Finally under the observation of Sri.Gurubhramachari-Assistant Program Manager, Blood Bank-Vishwa Bharathi Superspecality Hospitals-Kurnool more than 400 students have checkup their blood group voluntarily. The Blood Grouping cards were issued to the students by the chief guests. The camp ended with lunch.
